In times not so long ago, many people died to preserve the mystery of the herbs, and today we are in a position of privilege to reap the benefits of those who dared to maintain the knowledge. Even more mystical is the opportunity to freely open our reciprocal relationship with the herbs as they walk along with this Earth in tandem with our souls – the plants are the original teachers of the green path.
The Pull of the Herbal Mystery in My Life
As I walk down the path, the flowers smile in my direction. With the wind tickling their stalks, I swear they bow to me, honoring my divinity. How bold they are, they walk through the mysterious middle realm sure of their purpose. On the other hand, I need them to remind me of my health, vitality, and connection to this Earth.
Everyday lessons come through my daily ritual with herbs; I learn consistently from Nature itself. The herbs speak in my dreams, gift songs, and poems that honor the raptures of their divinity. It is now I who bows to them, knowing that they are a significant reason for my health. They teach me of the path my ancestors walked.
The mystery you may wonder is within YOU, within the connection you have with Earth and the herbs. The opportunities exist every day to relate, and the decision is all yours. The herbs stand in their truth, holding the secrets, waiting for you to come along and acknowledge and ask for their wisdom.
