The Shifting of the Seasons

The weather is changing here where I live, and the Aspens are changing from green to the most vibrant golden yellow. They blow in the wind, and the quaking Aspen speak whispers on the breeze about the wisdom of honoring the seasons. There is orange and yellow on the hills of the mountains and pops of red that send my heart into joy. The warm days with crisp air remind me that all seasons change. I think of all the cozy indoor crafts and books I desire to read.

How does Autumn feel for you?

As we navigate the intricate paths of our lives through the changes, we can utilize the call to understand the language of the plants to harness their incredible healing power and explore the wisdom of the natural world, especially during the changes of seasons.

During this time, I’m reminded of the potency of herbalism and part of the joy of deepening my herbal knowledge and integrating plant medicine and summer experiences around this time. I see the full, vibrant time of Summer desiring to sink within and take root in my soul. Each lesson is carefully tended to as you put mulch on the garden at this time to warm the roots during winter.

With the summer over and harvests almost finalized, I dive into herbalism’s importance. When we lived with the seasons, our harvest of herbs would get us through the Autumn and Winter to come out on the other side of Spring nourished and full of herbs that support us through teas, tinctures, ferments, and other herbal preparations.

I’m thrilled to announce that Herbs As Teachers is open for enrollment for January 2024, in time for the new year and winter integration.

At the core of this program is the understanding that the plants become our guides, subtly leading us toward more profound knowledge. Herbs As Teachers is a gentle yet deep journey into the world of herbalism, where we learn to listen to the whispers of the natural world, interpret the plants’ language, and integrate the transition of seasons and plant medicine.

Through herbal immersions, we dive into the subtleties of plant wisdom, guided by the knowledge of the plants themselves.

I’m announcing this program 4-months in advance so that if you need a payment plan, want to ask me questions and spend a little time contemplating, you have the opportunity.
