I have a story a vision to share. With this story, there are about 12+years of traversing through the depths of my inner nature, dealing with my internal demons, and evolving gracefully through adversity. Aspects of this story will be revealed over time as a stream beginning to melt from the winter freeze.

However, in 2008 I learned about a plant called Ayahuasca and it took me on a personal journey that has culminated to the current day vision in my life. You can read about the state of my psyche when I was going to the jungle here.

When I started drinking San Pedro medicine in 2013 and moved into Aya in 2015 in the jungle, I knew, as most who have a love for the Grandmother, that I am to never be the same person again, the version of me stuck in so many illusions that have been deeply programmed into my existence without taking responsibility for my life is slowly dying day after day.

In the past three years through constant work with the plants through herbalism, supporting ceremonies, and observing elders, there came a point where I noticed that integration from ANY AND ALL experiences in life is a real tangible process and it became another practice for me within this world of discovery.

Integration for my life looks like, taking time to disengage from “spiritual activities” or “spiritual righteousness” and focus on living the mundane day to day. This is where I discovered the magic of integration and the lessons the plants are engaging us to activate. I found this true for meditation, yoga, pranayama, worship, etc. One can continually sit in easy conditions and gain insight but living every day within a relationship to the world and others is where the real “work” and where integration forms.

For the past two months and into the future, I call on the community of women in DC to join in with me of this integration, preparation, and support for the process through an event I created called Tea and Flowers.

We gather together to discuss our journeys, desire for plant journeys, what it takes to operate with ceremony every day, make use of herbal medicines that are subtle and profound and grow in our natural habitat, integrate, prepare, and share experiences to support one another in our quest to integrate lessons into our day-to-day.

This support is changing my life, my existence in DC, and my heart.

I want to see this group of women grow to include all races of women, walks of life, and to expand into different labels of humans. I think this is an important space to learn that the labels we try to define ourselves eventually are to be abandoned if we want to continue to live above the influence of our current cultural paradigms.

We are growing organically and I am want to take a moment to give gratitude to the women who show up month after month for one another. I want to invite you if you live in DC, femme-identified, and interested in plant medicine to join our community. We are waiting for your powerful existence.

For those who are not femme-identified or in DC, eventually, I want this work to include everyone but have been directed by my spirit to start with the women in my immediate community. If you have any questions as to why or want to discuss further please email me and let’s talk.
